Use the three-dot notification menu

Open the notification tray.

Select the three-dot menu on a notification.

Choose Remove notification to delete that item from your tray/history.

Choose Turn off this type to block that notification type for your account.

Choose Turn off from this user when the notification came from a person and you no longer want notifications from that person.

Choose Turn off all DM notifications when you want to stop all DM notification alerts.
